Welcome to Better Lives Counselling
Life can present us with challenges that are often difficult to navigate alone. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma or relationship issues, counselling can help you work through your issues and find positive ways to move forward. I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, and I am committed to helping you achieve your goals.
At Better Lives Counselling, which is based in Teignmouth, I offer support to adult individuals who are facing various challenges in their lives. I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for you to explore your issues and emotions, whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or relationship issues. I understand that finding the time to attend in-person sessions can be challenging, which is why we also offer online or telephone counselling services . I am also able to offer home visits if you struggle to attend in person counselling.
I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, depending on your needs and goals, and I am committed to helping you fulfil your potential and live a more fulfilling life. My approach is tailored to your unique circumstances, and I will work with you to develop coping strategies, manage your emotions better, and achieve your personal goals.

Counselling is a form of therapy that aims to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a safe and confidential space. It provides a non-judgemental environment where clients can work through their problems and challenges with the help of a trained professional. I am not here to fix you – I am here to listen, with empathy and offer fresh perspectives so you can achieve greater self-awareness. I use various techniques and approaches to help you gain insight into your issues, manage your emotions better, and develop coping strategies to deal with your problems.
Counselling can be beneficial for anyone, regardless of your age, gender, or background, and it can help you improve their mental health, enhance their relationships, and achieve personal growth.

Mobile counselling is a convenient and comfortable option for those who prefer to receive counselling in the comfort of their own home. I offer a mobile counselling service, which means that we can come to you, wherever you are. Whether you have mobility issues, find it difficult to leave your home, or simply prefer the convenience of having a counsellor come to you, I am here to support you. I understand that opening up about your problems can be challenging, and I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that puts you at ease.
Online counselling is a flexible and convenient option for those who prefer to receive counselling from the comfort of their own home or wherever they may be. It differs from traditional face-to-face counselling as it takes place on Zoom or another video platform. Online counselling can be beneficial if you have a busy schedule, live in a remote area, or have mobility issues. It also provides greater anonymity, which you may prefer if you feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about attending in-person sessions.
Telephone counselling is a popular and convenient option for those who prefer to receive counselling over the phone. It offers a level of anonymity and flexibility that traditional face-to-face counselling may not, making it a popular choice for individuals who have busy schedules, live in remote areas, or have mobility issues. Additionally, it may be a more comfortable option for those who feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about attending in-person sessions. Telephone counselling is just as effective as face-to-face counselling, and our experienced counsellors are here to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, and work towards achieving your personal goals. So, whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or other challenges, our telephone counselling service is here to support you.
